  1. Click on Forms > T619 Magnetic Media Transmittal.
  2. Fill out all the information and click Save to accept the changes. 
  3. If you are filing 1 return only and do not have an existing Transmitter number please use generic transmitter number MM555555 to file this return.
  4. If you still wish to obtain a Transmitter number from the CRA, please call 1-800-665-5164 to obtain oneFor Transmitter number type in MM 999999.  This number was used by CRA to identify companies, but it is not used anymore.

Step 2: Creating E-file

To submit T4s by e-filing, you must save T4s as an XML file and submit to the CRA.  You have to create separate files for every business numbers you might have.
